Buy from Sorel
Great boots. Buy from Sorel. Do not buy the $60 boots or the $99 boots that will disappoint and waste your money. These boots by Sorel are high quality. This is my second pair. My first pair took me and my Canine boy about 3,000 miles, ~3 years, walking our same 272 acres. We were walking 7 miles a day in 2022. They are still intact. No stitching came loose. Nothing scratched them (and we walk through a lot of God our Father’s thorn plant/tree children. A lot.)
The upper did not tear. The bottom did not rip or scratch. The sole is quite worn as would be expected. But not through. I have a new pair mostly because of the cushioning and tread that I need.
I shine them with Armor All Tire Shine every day. The old pair still looks nice enough so that I can even wear them to town.
Many companies are making products these days that they have no business making. Companies that say, “let’s make some boots this year. We will design them and go to these manufacturers in China or Guatemala and contract with them. And make them cheaper and undercut the established brands by price and make alot of money from a cheap far-inferior product.”
It is more important than ever to buy products from the established experienced caring capable Honorable fair brands. Like Sorel.
You will not be disappointed. After 6 months of inferior boots, you will not be glad you saved that money on a cheaper product. After 6 months of owning Sorel boots you will not regret spending the extra money for them. You will be glad you spent the extra money for them.

I love these boots.
I love these boots. I live and work in Alaska in one of the rainiest places anywhere, and these boots are so comfortable, the soles are not too thin like some of the cheaper boots made by 3M and that you might find elsewhere on the internet. The tiniest puncture in thin soles makes boots worthless in the rain. I've had this pair for a year now and so far no leaks. They're also not ankle twisters like ExtraTuffs.
It's important to note however that the tongue of the shoe is not waterproof. If you step in ankle deep water, water will seep in through the tongue fabric. For me, that is fine, because I wear these boots all day long every day and I would prefer my feet to breathe a little, I just try to avoid stepping in puddles that deep. Inevitably it happens, but only a few times a year. But I suppose, making that tongue waterproof might be an option that would be appreciated by some.
Another thing that I've come to realize about Sorel, is that they seem to have come to the same conclusion as I have that lace hooks are dangerous trip hazards. I appreciate that none of their shoes seem to have them. I especially like the design of the eyelets of these boots. Pretty cool.
You know, my dad has had a pair or two of Sorels in his closet for about as long as I can remember, I always felt like I couldn't really afford them myself for a long time, but I always liked the ones he had. Now that I'm older, I realize, it's worth paying a bit extra for really good shoes. Live and learn I guess. Thanks Sorel for making great shoes.

Great Fit Great Style
I have had other styles of Sorel boots over the years. I particularly like these as they are fairly light weight and easy to put on. Also great tread and traction.
I wear size 12 and found the sizing to be right on with plenty of room if I want to wear heavier socks

Second pair
First pair lasted 20 yrs but dry rotted. This pair was made in Vietnam instead of Canada. They seem well-made.

Excellent, warm winter boots
I normally wear an 11 but had to go with an 11.5 to get the right width. Otherwise excellent boots.
