New liners. My old boots purchased in 1987. Getting new comfort and warmth

Have owned my Sorel boots for more than forty years and finally had to purchase new liners! They are a good fit and just as durable as the liners that came in the boot!

Very disappointed in the new liners. One thin piece of elastic to hold it closed in the front. Plenty of room for cold to seep in. Old liners had a solid elastic “tongue” that helped prevent cold and snow from getting in. A cost cutting measure at the expense of performance. I will be returning the liners. These are NOT the same liners my boots came with 20+ years ago. Very sad

My caribou boots are from ‘98 or ‘99 and made in Canada. I have been looking replacing the liners for several years but always get on the site when they are sold out. The boot and sole are still in good shape so I was hoping to just replace the liner. I finally was able to order a pair this year and as another review said, they are about an inch over the top of the leather and the snow cuff doesn’t meet the top of the boot. I called customer service and they said 9mm is what it has always been, I may not have been clear enough of the problem. Anyways, he said that those were the only ones for replacement so I will just return them and continue to use my current liners. When I tried them on, they did appeared to be warm although not as think as the originals were.
